<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To compatibly establish quick absorption of variation of characteristics due to individual difference of supply pumps and improvement of plant productivity by shortening learning time at a time of shipment from a plant or the like. <P>SOLUTION: Accurate actual learning value is gradually updated to the latest individual difference learning value by repeating temporary learning even during time when engine cooling water temperature is rising without completing temporary learning by performing temporary learning one time under a condition where engine cooling water temperature is low. Consequently, variation of characteristics due to individual difference of the supply pumps can be quickly absorbed and accuracy of temporary learning value obtained by temporary learning can be quickly made close to actual learning value obtained by actual learning.
