PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transmit and receive game machine information among game machines installed in a game parlor. SOLUTION: The slot machine is provided with ornamental members in the both sides of its upper door and disposed with an information receiving device and an information transmitting device inside the ornamental members. The information receiving device receives optical signals indicating the game machine information from adjoining slot machines and converts them into electric signals. The game machine information converted into the electric signals are stored in RAM and then combined with own game machine information. After that, the information transmitting device converts the electric signals indicating the combined game machine information into optical signals and transmits the optical signals to the adjoining slot machines.
