METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR PROVIDING WIRED/WIRELESS REAL-TIME AUCTION SERVICE BY USING MULTIMEDIA

A method and a system for offering a wired/wireless real-time auction service using multimedia are provided to enable a user to make a bid for an auction article while viewing live multimedia data for the auction article/progress by operating a streaming application in a bidding terminal. An auction providing terminal(100) generates/transmits auction data and the multimedia data including the information for the auction article/progress. The bidding terminal(120) generates/transmits interested article information by receiving input of a bidder, receives/plays the multimedia data, and generates/transmits bid data by receiving the input from the bidder. An auction relay system(110) transmits the information for bidding start time and the auction article to the bidder terminal by checking the bidding start time and the interested article information received from the bidder terminal, transmits the multimedia data received from the auction providing terminal to the bidder terminal, and generates bidding ranking list data, successful bid data, and successful bidder data by comparing/analyzing the bid data received from the bidder terminals.
