<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a disc brake wherein an opening portion at one end of a cylinder is prevented from being easily deformed in the radial direction of the disc brake by pressure in the cylinder even when the internal cross section of the cylinder is formed into an approximately elliptical shape long in the peripheral direction of the brake disc. <P>SOLUTION: A reinforcing member 60 provided on an outer caliper 10 for reinforcing the opening portion at one end of the cylinder 30 in the radial direction of the brake disc 1. This prevents the opening portion at one end of the cylinder 30 from being easily deformed in the radial direction of the disc brake by pressure in the cylinder 30 even when the internal cross section of the cylinder 30 is formed into an approximately elliptical shape, thus preventing oil leakage between the cylinder 30 and a piston 40. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
