<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a parking lot management system capable of settling a parking fee without requiring input of a parking ticket or a vehicle number by photographing a face of an occupant to convert it to face data and specifying a vehicle via a face authentication technology. <P>SOLUTION: The face of the occupant on a vehicle entering a parking lot 1 is captured by a fixed camera 3, and face data are generated to be accumulated in a database 13 with time information. A face of a payer is photographed by a payment device 7 with a camera for generating face data, and the face data are compared with those accumulated. Based on the time information of the face data resulting in agreement in the comparison, the parking fee is notified. Settled fee information is stored in the database 13 with the face data. When the vehicle approaches a parking lot exit 8, the face of the occupant is photographed by a fixed camera 9, and face data are generated to be compared with the accumulated face data.
