PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a resin composition for an optical device by which an optical member having uniform optical characteristics is obtained even when the whole or a part of a forming process is carried out in vacuum. SOLUTION: A resin precursor (uncured material) 3 comprising component materials all of which have molecular weight of≥180 is placed on a metal mold 2 having a relief pattern, inserted between the upended glass substrate 1 and the metal mold 2 and pressed (b) under a vacuum atmosphere in a vacuum vessel 4. The resin precursor 3 is cured (c) by the irradiation with ultraviolet ray through the glass substrate 1 in this state. After being formed by curing the resin precursor 3, the resin 5 is released from the metal mold 2 to form a joint body of the glass substrate 1 and the resin 5. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
