PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make an improvement so as to excellently clean even a narrow gap. SOLUTION: The suction tool 1 for a vacuum cleaner relating to this invention is provided with a housing 2 having prescribed width W, thickness H and depth D. A first connection hole is provided on the roughly center in the direction of the width W of the housing 2, and a connection cylinder 3 is attached through a connection part 4 to the first connection hole. The housing 2 is further provided with a second connection hole 19 on one end in the direction of the width W. The connection cylinder 3 and the connection part 4 can be freely detached from the first connection hole and reattached to the second connection hole 19. The suction tool 1 can be used for normal cleaning by mounting the connection cylinder 3 on the first connection hole, and the suction tool 1 can be used for gap cleaning by mounting the connection cylinder 3 on the second connection hole 19.
