PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure components with a very small amount of blood by efficiently introducing the blood made to bleed with a puncturing needle to a measurement part. SOLUTION: A blood component measuring apparatus 10 is provided with a chip 24 for measuring blood components including the puncturing needle 22 at the end of a casing 16. The holding block 134 of the chip 24 is provided with an introduction nozzle 124 having an introduction port 142 through which the blood is introduced, in a turnable manner. Then, after the skin of a person to be measured is punctured with the puncturing needle 22 and the puncturing needle 22 is evacuated from an abutting part 50, the introduction nozzle 124 is turned and displaced to position the introduction port 142 to face the blood at the skin to guide the blood from the introduction port 142 to test paper 126.
