ADHESIVE FOR SYRINGE NEEDLE, METHOD OF ADHERING SYRINGE NEEDLE, FRONT ASSEMBLY FOR SYRINGE AND SYRINGE

By inhibiting the occurrence of foreign matters caused by an adhesive to be used between a syringe and a needle base member, the yield of producing syringes is elevated. A front assembly (3) to attached to the front edge of a syringe barrel (2) which is provided with a syringe needle (4), a needle base member (5), a connection hub (6) and a cap (7). The syringe needle (4) is fixed to the needle base member (5) with an epoxy-based adhesive (19). The amount of a denatured aliphatic epoxy resin contained in this adhesive (19) is controlled to about 10 to about 25% by weight and the viscosity of the adhesive is controlled to about 20000 to about 40000 mPa^·s. This adhesive (19) is hardened by heating at about 130^oC or higher for about 20 minutes. After sterilizing the front assembly (3) and the syringe barrel (2) with steam, the connecting member (17) of the connection hub (6) is put on the front edge of the syringe barrel (2) and fixed thereto.
