<p>An improved design of saw bench, e.g. for a circular saw, has reciprocating slides moving parallel to the cutting direction and operated by cables, belts or chains and pulleys to move both the workpiece and the saw module in order to provide maximum length cuts. The actual length of cut is the sum of the length of travel of the workpiece grip and the saw module.</p> |
