<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize long-service-life of a battery by conductivity by improving adhesiveness of a grid body-active material interface, and to prevent deflection of a polar plate due to paste filling and adhering between paste. <P>SOLUTION: In this polar plate for the lead-acid battery, an active material 3 layer is filled in a grid body having a frame bone 1 thicker than an inner bone 2 around the inner bone 2.
