<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control system of an HEV (hybrid electric vehicle) capable of preventing a standstill of the traveling HEV without having considerable cost increase even when hardware of a control unit integrally controlling the vehicle is out of order. <P>SOLUTION: The control system of the HEV vehicle comprises a hybrid controller module (HCM) 11 which integrally controls the HEV vehicle by calculating and outputting various command values to various control targets of the hybrid electric vehicle (HEV) on the basis of various input information, and a plurality of control units which have a part of a plurality of functions calculating the various command values prepared by the HCM11 and respectively control various control targets of the HEV vehicle by entering the various command values.
