ENERGY REGENERATIVE DEVICE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve effective regeneration of energy contained by return fluid discharged from a fluid pressure actuator even in an open circuit. SOLUTION: An energy regenerative motor 86 is provided in one return passage 56 through which return fluid discharged from a boom cylinder 8bmc passes, and connected with a motor generator 87 for a boom. The motor generator 87 for a boom functions as a power generator for supplying electric power to a capacitor 23 of a hybrid type drive device 10 by being driven with the energy regenerative motor 86, and as an electric motor by electric power supplied from the capacitor 23. A pump 48 for a boom is connected to the motor generator 87 for a boom through the medium of a clutch 88. While transmitting power to the pump 48 for a boom from the motor generator 87 for a boom functioning as a generator, the clutch 88 controls the motor generator 87 for a boom functioning as an electric motor so as to be separated from the pump 48 for a boom.
