MANUFACTURING METHOD OF BONDED SHEET COMPOSED OF METALLIC BASE MATERIAL AND CERAMIC FILAMENT, APPARATUS TO PERFORM THE SAME, AND BONDED SHEET OBTAINED BY THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method to compose a sheet made of coated filaments which can be handled and used reliably and to provide industrially applicable process to fabricate composed parts including inserts made of composite material.

SOLUTION: The method is for manufacture of the bonded sheet comprising a plurality of coated filaments 8 including ceramic fibers 14 covered by metallic sheaths 15, and is characterized in that the filaments are placed side by side in the very same plane and welded together by laser spot welding 13. The apparatus to perform the method and the sheet to be manufactured are also provided. The method is applied for manufacture of components to be used in the field of turbo machinery for airplanes.
