PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen device capable of simplifying a seal structure without contaminating a discharge destination even if a driving medium leaks, and facilitating countermeasures against submergence, maintenance operation and a selection of an installation place. SOLUTION: The screen device comprises a screen 1 disposed in a stream channel of sewage or the like to capture impurities in flowing water, and an impurity eliminating mechanism 2 for eliminating the captured impurities from the screen 1.
