PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new elastomeric composition rich in flexibility and excellent in compression set characteristics. SOLUTION: The elastomeric composition comprises a block copolymer (I) having one or more polymer blocks (A) composed of an aromatic vinyl compound unit and one or more polymer blocks (B) composed of an isobutylene unit and having a structural unit derived in an alkylstyrene in which at least one 1-8C alkyl group is bonded to a benzene ring in a ratio of≥1 mass% based on mass of the polymer block (A) in the polymer block (A), a crosslinking agent (II) and a crosslinking auxiliary (III), and at least the alkyl group of the alkylstyrene in the block copolymer (I) is dynamically crosslinked with the crosslinking auxiliary (III) under melted conditions.
