VACCINE AND ANTIBODIES AGAINST PARASITIC NEMATODES

The present invention relates to a vaccine capable of providing immunoprotection against Dictyocaulus viviparus in cattle and use of the vaccine to produce specific antibody against Dictyocaulus viviparus. The vaccine provides the advantage of eliciting an immune reaction against inhibited and non-inhibited larvae of Dictyocaulus viviparus and is characterized by comprising epitopes obtainable from PNMT (phenyl ethanolamine-N-methyltransferase) of Dictyocaulus viviparus. In a further aspect, the present invention also provides antibody specific for said vaccine.
