The unit has a disk-shaped carrier for magnetically cooperating with a shrunk-on-disc rotor. Housing parts are arranged before the surface of the carrier. The housing parts are connected with the support at several connecting positions. Fixing mandrels (13) extending in an axial direction are inserted and fixed into fixing holes (23,33) provided in the parts, during the connection of the parts with the support.
