<p>An apparatus and a method for sharing a unique identifier among a plurality of receivers are provided to provide a service to a plurality of connected terminals although the number of the connected terminals exceeds the number of existing unique identifiers. A transmitter controller determines unique identifiers, corresponding time slots, and carriers(420). A transmitter transmits the display of the unique identifiers, the time slots, and the carriers(430). A receiver receives the display of the unique identifiers, time slots, and carriers from the transmitter(440).
