摘要 An image processing apparatus is provided to reduce a memory use amount of a data memory remembering attribute signals according to the number of kinds of attribute areas, simply define attribute signals, and reduce a load of a processor. A table including whole attribute areas is formed based on information peculiar to an image processing apparatus(S801). Attribute areas which a drawing command includes are judged according to drawing object formation(S802). The number of kinds of the attribute areas which a drawing command includes is counted(S803). A bit number of a newly defined attribute signal is decided based on the number of kinds of the attribute areas to form an attribute information table representing corresponding relations between the attribute signal and attribute signals corresponding to the attribute areas which a drawing command includes(S804). An attribute signal is generated for every pixel and the generated attribute signal is stored in a data memory(S805). The attribute signal is converted into an attribute signal to be used by an output image processor(S806). Output image processing is executed based on the converted attribute signal(S807).
