<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a guidewire having excellent operatability, improved responsiveness of the guidewire when repeatedly controlling bending angles and operating bending, simple structure and capable of being thinned in diameter. <P>SOLUTION: The guidewire has a core wire 1 of a metal, at least one electroconductor 2 arranged outside of the core wire 1, and a flexible member 3 arranged so as to cover the core wire 1 and the electroconductor 2. The electroconductor 2 comprises a pyrrole polymer containing at least 50 mole% of pirrole unit, the core wire 1 and the electroconductor 2 are connected at their front end portions, and the proximal end portions of the electroconductor 2 and the core wire 1 can be connected through a power source element 4. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
