A head of a vacuum cleaner is provided to protect the motor wire and increase productivity by forming a separation rib at one side of the motor mounting unit mounted with the agitator motor and separating the motor from the motor wire. A head of a vacuum cleaner comprises: an outer cover; a lower cover(510) combined at the lower side of the upper cover, and containing suction port where the impurities of the floor is flowed; an agitator rotatably installed at one side of the suction port to separate the impurities from the floor; an agitator motor(572) for rotating the agitator by generating the rotary power; a motor mounting unit(580) for receiving the agitator motor inside and limiting the flow; and a separation rib(582) mounted to separate a motor wire(574) for applying power to the agitator motor from being separated from the agitator. The separation rib is integrally mounted with the lower cover.
