METHOD AND STRUCTURE LAND-SIDE PROTECTION WALL USING H-BEAM

An earth retaining method using an H-beam and the H-beam structure are provided to prevent clearance from being generated between the H-beams neighbored to each other and to improve durability against soil pressure transferred from the outside. An H-beam used in an earth retaining method is composed of plural large diameter H-beams(100A) integrally connected of a web(130) between flanges(110,120) faced to each other and vertically buried in the ground at regular intervals; and plural small diameter H-beams(100B) embedded of both ends in the flanges of the large diameter H-beam to be interposed at both sides of the flanges between the large diameter H-beams and integrally side-contacted and combined with the outer surface of the flanges. The large diameter H-beam has the same structure with the small diameter H-beam, but different size.
