<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wheel-in-motor system capable of preventing the reduction of performance due to wrong a mounting position of the wheel-in-motor and effectively preventing theft of the wheel-in-motor. <P>SOLUTION: The wheel-in-motor M is provided with a memory means for previously retaining predetermined discrimination information and mounting position information mounted to the vehicle; and a transmitting means for transmitting the discrimination information and the mounting position information retained in the memory means. The vehicle is provided with a receiving means for receiving the discrimination information and the mounting position information transmitted from the transmitting means; a position detection means for detecting the mounting position of the wheel-in-motor M from the discrimination information received by the receiving means; and a motor driving control means for allowing driving of the wheel-in-motor M when the mounting position information received by the receiving means and the mounting position of the wheel-in-motor M detected by the position detection means are coincident with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
