MECHANISM FOR COOLING ROTATING CLUTCH WHEN ENGAGING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mechanism for sufficiently cooling a rotating clutch when engaging by supplying oil into a automatic transmission having a centrifugal hydraulic pressure balancing chamber.

SOLUTION: In a second condition where a piston 2 is moved to a balancing piston 3, a first through-hole 6 is exposed from a drum side portion region 1b of a drum protruded portion region 1a and oil in the centrifugal hydraulic pressure balancing chamber 4 is delivered through an oil passage specified by the first through-hole 6 and a second through-hole 10 to the rotating clutch C1.
