TERMINAL CONTROL METHOD, MOBILE INFORMATION TERMINAL, AND SERVER APPARATUS

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology of simply and properly preventing illegitimate utilization by other parties that can happen on the occurrence of missing or a theft of a mobile information terminal.

SOLUTION: The mobile information terminal 100 including a means for speech and communication extracts first feature information for identifying a talker from voice information to be transmitted at a speech and stores the extracted first feature information to a storage means of its own terminal. Further, when detecting a function stop instruction applied to its own terminal from the voice information received at the speech, the mobile information terminal extracts second feature information for identifying a talker from the voice information consecutively received after the function stop instruction. Moreover, the mobile information terminal discriminates the success or failure of the authentication applied to the function stop instruction on the basis of the extracted second feature information and the first feature information stored in the past and stops the operation of its communication means when the authentication is successful.
