PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a temperature adjusting device capable of efficiently cooling commodities stored inside a plurality of commodity storages. SOLUTION: The temperature adjusting device comprises a shutter mechanism 48, provided on a passage between the commodity storage and a cooling container, for changing a passing area an inside atmosphere passes, a temperature detecting sensor T for detecting an inside temperature of each of the commodity storages, and a controlling means 64 for controlling a circulation flow rate of the inside atmosphere by expanding the passing area of the commodity storage corresponding to the shutter mechanism 48 when a temperature difference between a detected temperature detected by the temperature detecting sensor and a set temperature stored in a memory 65 is relatively large.
