<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical disk driving device capable of surely preventing a disk from colliding against a condensing element, an optical disk device loaded with the driving device, and a driving method thereof. <P>SOLUTION: A tilt sensor 29 detects the tilt angle between an SIL (solid immersion lens) and a recording surface of the disk and outputs the detection signal to a peak detector 30. The peak detector 30 detects the peak value of the wobbling of the surface due to the input tilt angle. A servo control is then started in a position on the disk where the wobbling corresponding to the vicinity of the peak value detected by the peak detector occurs. As a result, even if the wobbling of the surface occurs in the rotating disk, the wobbling of the surface reaches the peak when starting the servo control and the speed of the wobbling becomes nearly zero. Accordingly, even if the wobbling of the surface occurs in the rotating disk, the SIL can be prevented from colliding against the disk. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
