PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly transfer the ear tip side of grain culms to the upper part in the rear even when an ear tip transferring device for transferring the ear tip side of the grain culms is operated to be turned to the topmost position. SOLUTION: A reaper of a combine harvester is composed as follows. The top end of a raising up center cover 6c provided in left/right inner raising up apparatuses 6a and 6b is located in a state nearly parallel to ear tip lugs 12c when the ear tip transferring device 12 for transferring the ear tip side of the grain culms is operated to turn to the topmost position. A prescribed gap L5 is provided between a transfer side N of the grain culms of an ear tip case 12a and a rear side plate 6h of the raising up center cover 6c. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
