The invention relates to a platform for adjusting the supply of periodicals offers using an automatic demand record. The inventive platform comprises a central device (1) which is equipped with a server (7) and a database (8) and which can establish communications by means of the cellular telephone network (6) with a series of remote devices (4) which are installed at each point of sale (3). The aforementioned remote devices (4) are equipped with a communication module (11) for transmitting data to the central device (1) and a sensor (10) which, by means of radio frequency transmission and reception, detects the presence of periodicals (5) within a radius of action (12) containing the point of sale (3), without the aid of an operator (9), using labels (13) that are affixed to each of the periodicals (5). In this way, the manufacturers, as well as the distributors, are provided with updated sales data and can produce subsequent issues of the periodicals in quantities that are much better adjusted to real demand, thereby minimising lost profits and the associated costs.
