<p>Injection molding of plastic parts comprises plasticizing a resin in a plasticizing and injection screw, injecting the resulting melt into a mold cavity in a speed-regulated manner, switching from speed-regulated injection to pressure-regulated compression to compensate for shrinkage during cooling, continuing to compress the melt for a time determined by a mathematical model taking into account the decrease in melt flow or the course of the screw path during compression, and removing the plastic part from the mold.</p> |
