In a Venturi mixing nozzle with a housing (1), a fluid inlet section (2), a fluid outlet section, a flow region for a first fluid, a first pressure opening (P1) in the housing and a second pressure opening (P2) at the narrowest part of the Venturi nozzle in the housing, at least one transverse tube (3) in the fluid inlet section is connected with the first pressure opening and has an opening (Oe) lying in the flow region for the first fluid. An independent claim is included for a method for operating a mixing nozzle of this type (in which the first fluid flows from the fluid inlet section to the fluid outlet section), involving feeding part of the first fluid into the transverse tube (3) via the opening (Oe), to create a congestive pressure in the tube which at least balances the reduced pressure created by the flow velocity of the first fluid at the first pressure opening. |
