A plasma display device and a driving method of a plasma display panel are provided to restrict wrong discharge caused due to the temperature by regulating the magnitude of voltage of sustain pulse supplied to at least one of sustain or scan electrodes during a sustain period, according to the temperature of the panel. A plasma display device includes a plasma display panel(900) having plural sustain electrodes(Z) and plural scan electrodes(Y1~Yn); driving units(903,904) for driving the sustain and scan electrodes; and a sustain pulse control unit(901) for regulating the voltage magnitude of sustain pulse fed to at least one of the sustain and scan electrodes during a sustain period, according to the temperature of the plasma display panel by controlling the driving unit.
