An operation method of a communication terminal that provides information corresponding to a location of a user and a communication terminal employing the same are provided to allow a communication terminal to update information received from a server at every certain period to provide updated information to a user in real time. A template storage unit storing template information corresponding to location information is maintained(S210). Location information of a communication terminal is received from an LBS(Location Based Service) system(S220). The template information corresponding to the received location information is searched from the template storage unit(S230). A pre-set component operation is performed by using the searched template information(S240).
