FIELD: mechanical engineering; internal combustion engines. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention relates to power takeoff devices. Proposed internal combustion engine contains at least one cylinder with fuel feed device, intake and exhaust members and piston coupled by connecting rod with first crank, and at least one second cylinder with intake and exhaust members and piston mechanically coupled with second crank, and also receiver whose input communicates through check valve with exhaust member of first cylinder. Output of receiver communicates with intake member of second cylinder through controllable distributing member. Piston of second cylinder is hinge-connected by connecting rod tie with first arm of rocker. Second arm of rocker is connected by connecting rod with second crank. Rocker is mechanically coupled with input link of free-wheeling mechanism whose output link is coupled with power takeoff shaft of internal combustion engine. ^ EFFECT: increased accumulation of energy with possibility of use it at increased resistance to vehicle motion, reduced mass of engine, simplified design, enlarged operating capabilities and no adverse effect on environment. ^ 13 cl, 1 dwg |
