METHOD FOR SHAPING PARTS OF SECTIONS AND STRIPS AND APPARATUS FOR PERFORMING THE SAME

FIELD: processes and equipment for bending and straightening parts of rolled sections and strips in all branches of industry where bodies and units of rolled metals are used. ^ SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of bending web of section or strip in its plane by means of arranged mutually opposite rollers. Uniform increase (with the aid of pressure roller) of effort is provided from inner to outer edge of bent web of section or strip till achieving maximum effort value near outer edge of web. Tension deformation is distributed according to triangle law. Cylindrical pressure roller is used. Center of gravity deformation triangle is determined. Effort is applied asymmetrically during on or several transitions along axis passing through center of gravity of deformation triangle. Apparatus for performing the method includes two deforming rollers acting upon blank from opposite sides. One roller, mainly upper roller is pressure roller and other roller is driven.
