#CMT# #/CMT# The concrete unit (1) has lateral walls (3) with one of the walls comprising an opening (4) provided with an annular joint (6) and sealed by a removable rigid gate (9), where the joint assures sealing with a tube (5) to be connected to the unit (1). The gate cooperates with the joint for forming an annular chamber in which a lip of the joint is housed. The gate maintains the shape and position of the joint during the fabrication of the unit (1) and protects the lip. The joint has two edges that are arranged to axially move the gate into the unit (1) to free the joint. #CMT#USE : #/CMT# Molded hollow concrete unit e.g. junction box, septic tank and manhole, for connecting rain water or used water drain pipes (all claimed) in the building construction field for circulating water. #CMT#ADVANTAGE : #/CMT# The gate maintains the shape and position of the joint and protects the lip of the joint, thus preventing the lip from damage by external constraints such as aggression to ultraviolet rays or temperature changes, before the connection of the tube, allowing the fabrication of the concrete unit in a simple and inexpensive manner using a simplified industrial fabrication process such as instant stripping and obtaining a concrete unit that is simple to use. The edges of the joint easily move the gate into the concrete unit by applying a reduced force. The gate is resistant to a sufficient amount of pressure for preventing any unexpected removal of the gate.
