The device has tuners for selecting receiving channels of respective antennas (A1, A2), and a mixer (13) for multiplying the receiving signals from the selected channel, where one of the signals is phase shifted to 90 degree. A low pass filter (14) filters the signal obtained from the mixer to obtain a constant continuous signal. A ramp generator (15) generates a monotonic ramp based on the continuous signal for controlling a phase shifter (50). An independent claim is also included for a digital signal receiving system comprising a synchronizing device.
