PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pharmaceutical preparation useful for reducing or treating pains, such as chronic pains (especially neurogenic pains). SOLUTION: This pharmaceutical preparation comprises (a) a propionic acid derivative-based non-steroidal anti-inflammatory medicine (for example, ibuprofen), (b) a non-pyrine antipyretic analgesic (for example, acetaminophen), and (c) an opioid analgesic (for example, codeine phosphate, dihydrocodeine phosphate). The pharmaceutical preparation may comprise 100 pts.wt. of (a) the anti-inflammatory medicine, 5 to 100 pts.wt. of (b) the antipyretic analgesic, and 0.5 to 500 pts.wt. of (c) the analgesic. The pharmaceutical preparation may not contain a non-toxic N-methyl-D-aspartate receptor antagonist, and may comprise 100 pts.wt. of (a) the anti-inflammatory medicine, 20 to 80 pts.wt. of (b) the antipyretic analgesic, and 1 to 100 pts.wt. of (c) the analgesic.
