PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nurse call system which enables a general call from a patient and a staff call from medical staff such as a nurse to be processed without a staff call button. SOLUTION: A nurse call slave set is configured with a general call button for patients and a tag reader to read an identification signal sent out from a wireless tag worn by hospital staff including nurses on their arms.
