PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling method for a container capable of preventing city water or the like from being discharged incontinently for a long time, because a city water charge is spent wastefully by using the water wastefully, since the city water or the like flows incontinently for a long time for use in cooling, before putting a high-temperature container such as a kettle or the like with boiled barley tea or other tea in a refrigerator. SOLUTION: The high-temperature container such as the kettle or the like with the boiled barley tea or other tea is put in the compact refrigerator comprising a container with a lid sealed with a fixed amount of water, and cooled, thereby to save the water and the city water charge.
