PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine exhaust device materializing early activation of a catalyst in a muffler. SOLUTION: The catalyst 47 is arranged in a second muffling chamber 43 existing in the most upstream side in a muffler 33 connected to an exhaust pipe 32 of an engine E. Exhaust gas G purified by the catalyst 47 flows in the second muffling chamber 43 through second communication pipes 49, 49 after flowing in a first muffling chamber 42 through first communication pipes 48, 48, and is discharged to an outside through a tail pipe 51 after flowing in an exhaust chamber 44 through a third communication pipes 50, 50.
