NOVEL DERMO-COSMETOLOGICAL PREPARATIONS FOR PREVENTING ESCHAR FORMATION

摘要

The invention concerns novel dermo-cosmetological preparations for preventing eschar formation. More particularly, the invention concerns preparations containing a concentrated extract of non-fat sunflower seeds, rich in polyphenols with anti-radical activity and xanthin oxidase inhibitors. The inventive preparations are capable of countering formation of eschars, necrotic lesions induced by superoxide radicals and hydroxyl radicals generated by ischemia due to the compression of skin tissues.
