PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a die holder unit for a press brake which prevents an upper die having a holding groove in a longitudinal direction from falling by about 2 mm from the die holder unit, permits mounting of the upper die not having the holding groove in the longitudinal direction as well and facilitates attaching and detaching of the upper die. SOLUTION: The die holder unit has a die holding member 61 having die holding surfaces 23f, 23f disposed freely movably in and out at clamps 25, 27, and torsion pins 29, 31 which are disposed within a holder body 21 during die clamping and hold and rotate the pins energized in projecting parts energized by springs, etc., and have clamps possessing the pins whose other ends engage into the hole sections of the holder body. In the state of moving and holding the upper die to an upward direction during clamping of the upper die, the upper die is clamped and mounted to the holder body. By having the clamp, the upper die not having the holding groove 3g in the longitudinal direction can be clamped and mounted as well. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
