PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a suction port body of a vacuum cleaner facilitating connection to the vacuum cleaner. SOLUTION: The suction port body 20 includes a connection pipe 22 fixed to a suction port main body 21 with the suction port 26 for sucking dust, communicating with a suction port 26 and connected to an extension pipe (communication pipe) 14 of the vacuum cleaner 10. The pipe 22 is pivoted swingably breadthwise about a first rotary axis A vertically intersecting a longitudinal direction of the main body 21 and vertically swingably pivoted on a second rotary axis B vertically intersecting the first axis A. The main body 21 is provided with a torsion spring 90 for retaining the connection pipe 22 in a standing state at being disconnected from the extension pipe 14, a lower side spring retaining part 69A, an upper side spring retaining part 69B (vertically energizing means), an engagement member 40, a coil spring 41 and a gear part 42 (breadthwise energizing means).
