<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a safety device of single track carrier capable of detecting only an obstacle to interfere the traveling which is present in a range for reliably taking a risk avoidance action as a true obstacle (obstacles not interfering the traveling are not detected). <P>SOLUTION: In a single track traveling vehicle to travel on a single track provided on the ground, a photosensor to detect the distance and the direction of an obstacle of the size not less than the predetermined value within the predetermined angle of expansion and the distance by the reflection of the light is mounted on a front face of a leading vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
