PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an anode obtaining bright display images with improved luminescent efficiency, excellent in processing workability, and equipped with excellent surface smoothness, high light reflectance as well as high hole injection efficiency, and an organic electroluminescent display device equipped with the same. SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent display device is of a top-emission type capable of taking a luminescent opening area wide, and has a TFT, and an organic EL element laminating at least an anode 13, an electroluminescent layer 16, and a cathode 17 in that order on a substrate formed at each pixel of the display area, of which, the anode 13 consists of an Al alloy film containing at least nitrogen or one or more kinds of 8th-family 3d transition metal in Al as impurities.
