<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimally set the phase angles of a first triport type constant velocity joint connected to one end of a shaft and a second triport type constant velocity joint connected to the other end thereof. <P>SOLUTION: This rotation driving force transmission mechanism comprises the first constant velocity joint 10a and the second constant velocity joint 10b having the same construction and opposed to each other in opposite phases with the phase angles different by 60°±(tolerance). The tolerance is (180/Z)°, where Z is the number of serration teeth 36 provided at both ends of the shaft 14 (decimal numbers are rounded out). It is set with a NVH (NOISE, VIBRATION, HARSHNESS) property curve as an upper limit regarding the specifications of a vehicle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
