<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that it is difficult for a conventional light source device to adjust chromaticity of output light. <P>SOLUTION: A light source device which outputs excitation light of light emitted by a light emission source has: a first phosphor containing member (14) where a phosphor is partially present; and a second phosphor containing member (12) where the phosphor is partially present. The first and second phosphor containing members (14 and 12) are placed one over the other in the light projection direction of the light source. For adjustment, the second phosphor containing member (12) is rotated or moved almost in parallel to adjust the angle or movement quantity of the second phosphor containing member (12) to the first phosphor containing member (14), and consequently the area ratio of the phosphor viewed from the light source is varied to adjust the chromaticity. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
