PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid feed member which keeps high feed characteristics with respect to a liquid especially high in polarity even in a use environment. SOLUTION: The liquid feed member is equipped with a base material having a large number of grooves on its surface in a predetermined pattern and a plurality of photocatalyst particles arranged on the surfaces of the grooves as shown in Fig.3. The grooves have first grooves 32 and the second grooves 34 formed in the first grooves and the depth of the first groove 32 is 30-3,000μm while the depth of the second groove 34 is 5-50% of the depth of the first groove 32.
